History

California Central Airlines ran a scheduled interstate passenger service in Burbank CA. in 1949 until 1954 by the president Charles Sherman. The airline operated DC-3, DC-4 and M-202 "Air Lounge" equipment. It was the sister carrier of California- Hawaiian Airlines under the Airline Transport Carriers, an umbrella company for a variety of airline operations.
